Tickets and seats
How do I buy tickets?
Tickets to all shows can be bought online through Ticketmaster. If you are booking an accessible seat or with a Companion Card, please contact us and our Box Office will contact you to complete the booking.
Can I make a group booking?
Group bookings are available on most performances. To make a group booking, please email Ticketmaster Group Bookings at groups@ticketmaster.com.au.
How do mobile tickets work?
If you buy your ticket online through Ticketmaster, you will receive a mobile ticket instead of a paper or print-at-home ticket. When you get to the theatre, simply show the ticket barcode on your mobile phone to one of our ushers for scanning.
To assist you in getting to your seat sooner, please make sure your phone is fully charged, and the screen brightness is set to the maximum setting. Please note that screenshots of tickets will not be accepted. You can find your ticket in the Ticketmaster app.
Can I exchange my tickets?
Each production has their own exchange and refund policy. Please check the relevant show page for their policy.
General questions
What time do I need to arrive before a show?
We recommend that you arrive at least 15-30 minutes before the performance starts – or earlier if you would like to enjoy a drink in one of the theatre’s licensed bars.
What if I'm late and the performance has started?
Live theatre has a ‘lock-out’ policy; a period after the curtain goes up when late-comers are not permitted to enter the auditorium. Lock-out periods are set by the production and vary from show to show. Patrons arriving late will be admitted when there’s a suitable break in the performance.
How long is the show? What time will the show finish?
The performance duration depends on the show. To check a particular running time, please check the relevant show page.
I have lost something at the theatre - who do I contact?
If you have lost something within our theatre, please contact us and we will make every effort to locate your lost item.
Is there a dress code?
There’s no official dress code for but most people dress smart casual. You’re more than welcome to use the occasion to dress up – wear your most glamorous gown, a dashing tux or a family heirloom! It can get cold in the theatre, so we recommend bringing an extra layer, just in case.
Light emitting clothes, jewellery, accessories or footwear must be switched off before entering the auditorium. We suggest leaving these items at home. Hats must also be removed during the performance.

It is my first time to the theatre. What should I expect?
We want you to feel comfortable when you come to the theatre. Here are a few tips to make your visit memorable.
Will the cast do meet and greets?
The cast don’t participate in meet and greets; however performers do occasionally exit via the Stage Door. Some may take the time to sign autographs or take photos.
Are outside food and drinks permitted?
Whilst you are welcome to bring snacks and cold drinks with you to the theatre, we do not allow patrons to take external alcohol, hot food or beverages, strong smelling food or any form of glass into the auditorium (including glass water bottles). Our theatre bars provide a variety of refreshments that you can take into the auditorium and consume during the show.

Children And Families
Does my child need a ticket or can I bring a small child to sit on my lap?
Everyone attending must have a ticket. Children under the age of two can sit on your lap with ‘babe-in-arms’ ticket. This ticket is free and can be collected from our Box Office on the day of the performance. Some shows are not suitable for small children; please check the show page to find out about the babe-in-arms policy and age recommendation for the show that you are attending. If your child becomes unsettled, they will need to be taken out to the foyer to prevent any disruptions to the performance.
Will my child be able to see the stage?
The seating in the theatre is raked for excellent sight lines to the stage. We have booster cushions available from our cloakroom for small children free of charge.
Is the show suitable for my child?
We understand that each child is different and parental discretion is advised. Each show has an age recommendation, so we suggest visiting the show page to find out more.
Can children attend on their own?
Children under the age of 16 cannot attend on their own and must be always accompanied by an adult.
Accessibility
Are there captioned, Auslan Interpreted or Audio Described performances offered?
Accessible performances are arranged via individual productions, which means availability and type can vary. Information about these performances is usually listed on the show page, or you can request this information by contacting us.
Are service dogs allowed?
Accredited service dogs are allowed to enter the theatre upon presentation of accreditation proof. Service dogs must always remain on a leash and on the floor.
